Kupang, LOGIC.co.id - Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is set to visit Indonesia on a special humanitarian mission. The Al Nassr captain will arrive in Jakarta on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, before making his way to Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
A Mission of Charity and Support
Ronaldo’s visit to Kupang is not just a routine trip but part of a larger charitable initiative spearheaded by the Graha Kasih Indonesia Foundation. He will participate in multiple social activities, including visits to local schools, orphanages, and churches, as well as reviewing the progress of a new international cancer hospital.
A key aspect of his visit is his personal involvement in the hospital’s development. According to Dr. Susy Maria Katipana, Director of the Graha Kasih Indonesia Foundation, Ronaldo has not only endorsed the project but also provided financial support to help bring it to life.
"Once Ronaldo lands in Kupang, we will take him straight to the construction site. His commitment to public health is truly commendable," said Susy.
Construction of the hospital is slated to begin by the end of March 2025, with the aim of improving healthcare services in NTT.
Apart from healthcare initiatives, Ronaldo will also extend support to various social organizations by donating financial aid, essential supplies, and transportation assistance for communities in need.
